Panchayat Prahallad College, Nischintakoili, emerged champions in Utkal University Inter-College Men`s Kabaddi Tournament, defeating Raja Madhusudan Dev College, Patia, 48-41 in the final here at Kalinga Stadium earlier this week.
As many as 58 colleges participated in the six-day tournament, the first phase of which took place at three venues, including Baruneswar Mahavidyalaya, Arei (Jajpur) and Banki College (Banki).
Utkal University Sports Council director Prof Jayant Kumar Parida handed over the trophy at the closing function. Government College of Physical Education, Bhubaneswar, Principal Dr Man Mohan Rout was present on the occasion
